The Panjim Inn is a beautiful heritage building, both inside and out (well actually 3 beautiful buildings). We were in the main one - with the reception & dining room.
The room was small, but gorgeous, with a 4 poster bed and antique furniture. Our bed was big enough for the two of us (I'm 6 foot tall), but we were told other bedrooms had very short, small beds. The mattress was VERY hard.
There was a safe, kettle, fridge, lots of hot water.
We ate in the restaurant 1 night, but it had a very limited menu for vegetarians (unlike the rest of India, where we were very well catered for).
Breakfast, however was excellent, with lots of choices for veggies, especially the mushrooms, cheese bites and made-to-order omlettes.
The area around the hotel is lovely to explore, with many attractive heritage buildings. You can also walk into the town centre in less than an hour from here.More
