Not a great deal to say about this area really. The houses are predominantly of the style in the picture (Portugese), but there are enough new ones and properly dilapidated ones to make it a bit of a challenge to get a great pic. Colours are nice, though. There are also a few quirky shops about and at least one nice cafe. We were there in March and found that if you drifted over towards the river, the smell wasn't great so it kept us a block over, more in the centre. Still, a nice wander and a bit different from the main centre of Panjim

Old Goan houses , very close to Panaji. Good to walk around.
Interesting to see the architecture and houses without compound walls.

This is an Instagram friendly place. Walk around the quaint old lanes, take pictures (and you get really good pictures). The nameplates, the names, the simple quiet lanes...yes, it is the simple joys while walking around

Spent an hour roaming around in the area. Really quiet and very very colorful. Very nice for those interested in photography.
