Being a Sharm resident since 2005, I know most hotels, suburbs and apartment compounds. Laguna Vista Residence is one of the most convenient ones for a beach holiday, because it is one of the few which has its own beach (versus using someone elses beach subject to agreements) and is actually at a walkable distance from a beach.

The compound is on the 2nd line, but Nabq Downtown is a straight 500 m down from it, and offers literally everything right there - supermarkets, banks, exchanges, souvenirs, pharmacies, bars, some very popular night clubs, even Starbucks, McDonalds and KFC.

The compound is very green and well cared for, with a huge lawn and a nice pool area. Lots of trees, lush. It is mostly used for living and only partially for holiday renting. The customers who review, would really have to differentiate, from whom they are renting, because it can be from the compound itself, or from the private owners, in which case all the apartments are of course different.

The water and electricity are sold at standard touristic prices, which do differ from prices to the Egyptians outside resorts, but are quite ordinary for a resort compound. Monthly expensed for water and electricity do not exceed 3-400LE in case of lighter use by 2 persons, which is not much at all. I do think some of the previous comments must be based on some sort of misunderstanding.

What concerns "baby snakes" then incidentally I happened to holiday in the compound exactly when someone was having major earth works in her garden, and indeed they discovered lost of earthworms there, to the delight of the visiting children. Earthworks as far as I know are sign of healthy soil and nothing to be afraid of, even if slightly uncomfortable to encounter in unusual surroundings. I happened to stay in ground floor apartment, too, and kept the doors ajar at night, and nothing at all crawled into my apartment, although I was located next to the garden where the planting was going on.

We stayed in a private apartment and enjoyed our stay a lot. The garden was a frast for the eyes, the pool was very close and delighted the kids. The beach was beautiful, and all services were comfortably at hand, also taxies and buses were easy to catch from the main street, for driving to other parts of Sharm. The apartment was comfortable and felt more like a home than a hotel, which is exactly what we wanted. We did not need or use the staff services much, but they were all friendly and always said hello etc.
A very relaxing holiday.

Room Tip: Top floor apartments have concealed private roofs, ground floor apartments have private gardens.

I was shocked when my wife found a "Baby Snake" in the apartment and the resort .
management deny that and said its just and an "Earthworm" which is not true
moreover the facilities prices are very high and unfair for example
water : 24 LE/M3
electricity : 1.10 LE/KW

The steel construction scaffolding is my main view along my stay duration up to day as per the attached photo

Why it stranded for more than 10 days

Is it to prevent my view

I don't know

I asked residence manager to remove it without any response

You must rectify it and development it

Thanks and wishing you the better
