We were so disappointed after staying at this hotel. The location is perfect, just 10 minutes walking from the old town and rooms have nice views. But it lacks cleanliness and professionalism of some of the staff. We booked a standard double room for 100€ and found the carpet, pillows and duvet to be full of dog’s hair. I’m very allergic to it, so we immediately called the reception and they kindly offered a room change (to a better one). The lady in the reception apologized but told us the hotel is pet friendly, so she couldn’t guarantee the cleanliness of the new room.

Excuse me? We are travel bloggers, so we travel a lot. We have stayed in so many pet friendly hotels before and never had any problem. Being pet friendly doesn’t mean rooms have to be full of pets hair. Luckily, the new room was clean though.

Another bad is the shower. Bathrooms are very modern but not useful at all. We took a 5 minutes shower and the bathroom floor and part of the room carpet was soaked. The drain didn’t work properly so we had to put towels all around so we could walk around. The floor was still wet the next morning.

Breakfast was ok. The products were good but the space in the breakfast area is so reduced it was stressing trying to fill your plate in that reduced space.

They parked our car in a “private parking” the night before and asked to keep the keys. We called to have the car back and they couldn’t find the keys at first (due to the room change I believe). Then we go down expecting to have the car parked in front the hotel but we had to go into a stranger’s car to get to the parking. It was an open field a mile away from the hotel. Obviously, it wasn’t private nor secure. We found very weird they had to keep the keys when it was parked in a public and open parking space. Maybe they used it to pick up another client? We would have paid for a secure parking spot if we had known about this.

But the worse part came when I came back to the reception to pay. I saw the receptionist and the chauffeur talking, I say hi so she knows I’m ready to check out but nobody even looks at me. I waited for a few minutes in the reception but had to ask for assistance to the guy in the restaurant. He seemed like the only professional worker in the hotel.

It’s a pity that a modern and well located hotel offers this poor experience.

The hotel has a very good location, in front of the sea and quite close to the old town.
We had a room with sea view. It was very nice to wake up and ,through the window, have such a beautiful view.
A nice walk takes one to the lovely Rovinj down town.
We were very happy with our room. It has a very nice furniture and decoration. It is not big but confortable. The bathroom was fine. Just a detail: the shower is open, so sometimes the water can come out. It would be perfect if they put a glass door.
The toiletries were of high quality. I really appreciate when I get these kind of toiletries. It is a nice welcome to the guests in my opinion.
The reception is quite small but fine, and the service was outstanding. The breakfast was fine.
Everything together we are very satisfied.

New hotel, opened on 1.7.2017. Location cca. 400 m from old city, centre. We stayed for 2 nights. Comfortable room, TV, mini bar. From the room was a nice view to old city (my opinion not from all rooms, but this I do not know).
Excellent and very friendly staff.
Hotel has their own restaurant; we did not have the pleasure to taste their gourmet “cuisine” but next time for sure.
They have their bikes for rent them.
Peaty that they do not have their own parking place, car it is parked somewhere else but this was not a problem.
Next time when we will stay in Rovinj for sure this will be one of options. I recommend this hotel.
