This is a very nice and luxury hotel, the personnel is very friendly and helpful. The half-board (breakfast + dinner) is great, both are served as buffet for extended time (duration 3,5 - 4 hours). Breakfast also includes drinks: coffee, tea, water, juices. Dinner includes one type of juice only. Variety of food is very good! There are many waiters serving, although some are not fully competent, but you can always contact others. During the day, nuts and fruits are available. The saunas are very nice, although they open at 3 pm only (unless it is a rainy day, then they open earlier). Some equipment is a bit worn out, and the elevators get stuck sometimes (but they restart them within 5 minutes), wi-fi quality is average. Room cleaning quality is quite poor though, we always had sand on the floor, and due to some reason they always put bed cover on top of the wardrobe (although we preferred it on the bed, and always put it there). The hotel's territory is very big and green, but unfortunately it has not much functionality, there are a swimming pool with a bar, two tennis courts, a swinging bench, some more usual benches and tables to sit, a parking area (free of charge)... and that's it. It would be really nice to have more facilities there, e.g. a children playground, mini golf, etc. Walk to the beach takes around 5 minutes, the hotel has its own area with the bar and sunbeds, but the access is open for anyone (no control), and some sunbeds are taken by non-guests. All in all, the hotel meets the expectations!

Most memorable stay where everything was done right to make you feel truly pampered.

Best Hotel I've stayed at in many years, including Asian 5 stars. Every detail was done to perfection: tasteful authentic historic renovation, relaxed elegance and ambience including terrace & pool with flower garden and ocean-view, the best staff offering genuine service according to classical Austrian hospitality, excellent food and great amenities. Superb management. Director Bettina Tiefenbacher and her team thought of everything !!! A must for any discriminating traveler visiting Croatia.

It was our first stay in the Kvarner Palace in May 2018 and we soon got charmed about this hotel. It is a very nice, elegant and well-maintained hotel rich in tradition with glamorous architecture. It was just lovely to enjoy the panoramic view over the beautiful hotel garden and further over the Kvarner bay and the coastline of the opposite island Krk in the morning when sitting on the terrace and eating breakfast.

Due to the location of the hotel, you stay in a quiet and relaxing hotel atmosphere, but you are still able to discover the centre of Crikvenica by feet. The hotel is not located directly on the beach but has its own sandy beach section within few minutes walking distance in addition to the nice pool area on the hotel premises.

The cuisine and the service in the hotel restaurant were excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good, fresh and of high quality. Every morning, we received a new edition of the hotel's own morning paper in which, for example, cooking recipes, information about Croatia, excursion and programme tips and weather information had been compiled. In the evening, you could enjoy exquisite dinner, occasionally with live music.

The hospitality shown by the employees of the hotel was fantastic. The reception staff were always friendly, courteous and were very helpful when we had questions about planning our trips. Some employees also spoke German language.

During our stay in May 2018 a MINI Convertible and a Range Rover Evoque Convertible of the external car rental service "Charter & Share" were parked in front of the hotel. In case of interest you could inquire at the hotel reception. In our case, it took only 20 minutes from request before a very nice employee of the car rental company arrived at the hotel to prepare the necessary paperwork and handover the car in an uncomplicated manner. We chose the Range Rover which was a real eye-catcher and made a lot of fun. We enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the island of Krk by car.

Thank you very much for the very pleasant stay in your hotel!

The Kvarner Hotel is a nice resort type hotel, rooms are clean and large, the shower is good, breakfast is also good. We had dinner at the hotel which was good.
The are some issues that require attention which made our stay less pleasant:
1. The A/C in the room did not work properly and the room was very warm
2. We had to come to the reception 3 times to re-program our keys to the room
3. the bed is very soft.
