My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our one night, a lovely view from our room to the sea and the local town of Bol, great location overall, very central.
Found the staff very helpful and very friendly, our meal in the restaurant in the evening was very pleasant, nice bottle of Croatian wine, all in all loved the hotel.

The hotel is clean and well located in Bol. The price was reasonable and the staff generally pleasant. The breakfast was OK.

IT should be noted that the Hotel is 500 meters from a car park that costs 70 Kuna (10€) a day. It is not possible to get closer to offload luggage. There was no warning of this when booking. The receptionist offered help later but, too late. We had dragged our suitcases 500meters.!!!

The room was small and had no wifi.
There is no lounge area.
It was necessary to sit in the narrow reception area to get any signal. Thick walls were blamed but our home has thicker walls and with good modern equipment there would be no problem. Wifi is no longer a luxury in good hotels.

Restaurants in Bol are generally expensive. But the Kastil is excessive.
It is over priced and underwhelming. We had better food for half the price elsewhere. Sitting overlooking the harbour is a benefit but many other restaurants offer the same.
Street noise is generally muted by double glazing Apart from one enthusiastic guitarist at the Pizzeria below our window. In peak season?
Petty points- No plug for basin.
Constant annoying drip in toilet pan.

Room tip: All are similar I believe- Some back onto 'Scooter Alley'

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night with a balcony double sea view room.

At a cost of 78£ for one night including breakfast this hotel was excellent value for money right in the centre of the small town of Bol. The hotel had very much a family run feel, and all staff were friendly.

The hotel has two restaurants, Topolino and Vusio. We ate twice at Topolino, the food was reasonably priced and of decent quality. A good spot for people watching! In the evening they have live music which was also enjoyable to watch.

Recommended!

Hotel is great, food is excellent, staff is friendly but the receptionists was not, actually very rude. The reason why my review is 2 stars is because I found missing money from my room when I was not in there.

Dear Petra, I am sorry you felt like this but doubting in my long years employers is a bit too much to ask from me. What did you expect from me to give you money you said you were missing? Who guarantees me you counted well? And there is a free safe in your room you can use to secure all your valuables. It is actually written in house order that you saw in your room. And the amount of money you said was missing can be easily miscounted.
I am working in this hotel for 14 years and other of my staff are here even longer and never, ever our guests missed anything! We gave back a lot of money, valuable jewelry, credit cards, documents, I sent cameras abroad, clothes, cell phones... So going online with something like this is really rude.
Like I said while you were here, I am sorry you had found yourself in situation like this, but me apologizing for something like this would mean that I admit that it is true and I guarantee that is not.
So, thank you very much for this review. I feel my behaviour was rather professional than rude.
Kind regards,
Ivana

Great hotel with a fab location and lovely staff. Amazing balcony for a great breakfast (buffet style) and great evening restaurant for pizzas. Rooms were very clean and well serviced. Reservation staff were attentive and nothing was a problem. Including looking after our passports that we left in the unlocked safe! Even attempted to deliver them to us one day but we were away.
Nice location right on the harbour so a bit buzzy below in the evening but just added to the interest from our front facing window. Will book a balcony room next time.
Thanks to all the staff - cool place ! 😘👍🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
