Learned more about Tuskegee airman then any other museums we have traveled to. Nice exhibition on the North Korea who brought the MiG 15 to the Americans. Never had heard the entire story. Nice collection of planes. Have many different flight simulators to test out.

Not a very large museum, but interesting! Male and female exhibits to view. Simulators, kids play area, and kids can actually sit in some of the air crafts. Small gift shop. Very friendly staff ! Don't miss the outside air crafts down the street as well.

Thank vincent

An enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. We lucked out and had a nice chat with one of the men who work on the planes (actually, he might be a department of one!) he gave us some interesting information on some of the planes and some of the owners of the smaller planes. We enjoyed being able to sit in a few of them...and seeing how small the cockpit is and how much instrumentation. I appreciated the emphasis they placed on women and people of color in their informational displays. And we enjoyed the theming of some of the displays. One of our party is in the Civil Air Patrol, and he was pleased with the room dedicated to the CAP.
