“Spiritual Moment”

The Cathedral of St. Paul
Reviewed 15 September 2017

This is a very beautiful Catholic Church in the downtown area. Very attractive altar, domed ceiling and stained glass windows. Not sure if it was true but both of us felt that the flooring of the church was tilted down to the altar as if you were being drawn to it. Mass on Saturday is at 5 PM and Sunday mass is at 8:30 and 11 AM. The 8:30 mass was partially said in Latin with very nice music.

Within walking distance of the Downtown area hotels. Many well dressed families in attendance at Sunday morning service

St Paul has been beautifully restored, make sure you check out the bell tower out the back, it's great if all 8 bells are ringing and you can see the bell ringers at work.

Love taking a load off and visit to take in the atmosphere and glorious quiet. On the other hand visiting when the choir or organ are playing is a real treat.

Beautiful church. Worth stopping in just to see the floor and ceiling, but the rest is great too. Please be respectful of worshippers
