The hotel is so so, room was a bit small but still okay for our family. Quite clean and cozy on the room, but breakfast is a big No No. It is like leftover foods from last night party. Servants not speak English, there is a boiled eggs but no salt or pepper available. Bread with no butter or jam. I do not know how to eat, so we finally buy an instant noodles cup across the street.

The Junrui Baihe (or Barony) Hotel in Huangshan was definitely not a 4 Star. The rooms were a very average size compared to all the other hotels we stayed at with our tour group. It had all the standard amenities but the hotel seemed to be somewhat run down. The hotel had promised our tour group that breakfast would be ready at 6:00 am for the 2 days of our stay there, but they were half an hour late for both days. The line up to get into the dining room was horrendous and breakfast selections were limited and not appetizing. Definitely climb the Yellow Mountains and also visit the Tunxi Ancient Street while in Huangshan.

The other name for this hotel is The Barony. My room was pretty big. From the map of the floor, I think I had the biggest room on the floor. The bathroom had a big tub and huge shower. Just watch out for mosquitoes in the rooms.

The hotel breakfast was not good at all. There a very limited selection of food. Coffee is terrible here. At least there's a little shop in the hotel that sells snacks and beverages. They also have powdered Nescafe for 2 yuan a pack.

FYI: The name of this hotel is actually The Barony.

As far as hotels in Huangshan City, the standards there are not very high. There are not many 4 or 5 star hotels in the area. The name of this hotel is actually The Barony. It is on one of the main roads in the city. There isn't really anything in walking distance. I did notice a convenience food store across the street as well as a street food stand.

As far as the facilities, they were okay. The lobby is reasonably nice, with a good amount of seating for guests. The breakfast buffet is passable, but not a whole lot of selection. Tended to stick with staples like fried rice and noodles. There is also a noodle bar. Dining ambiance is nice. If you are travelling with a tour group, make sure to get here early or arrive later as the room does fill up.

The reason for the two stars is primarily with my room. There is no room wi-fi, though there is wi-fi in the hotel lobby. Bathroom was average size compared to the others I stayed at during my trip through China. But the main problems were that the bed was really hard and there was mold on the wall. The bed being the bigger issue since I climbed Mount Huangshan during my visit.

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel and greatly appreciate the excellent hot water shower system. One of the best we have come across.
The mini store within the hotel opposite the breakfast dining area on the ground floor, was convenient to pick up titbits and drink. Best is that it is quite lowly priced versus those titbits shops in tourist area that ripped us off.
Free wifi in lobby and free broadbank in room.
