Description: Paellas Pepe is located in the neighborhood of Ipiranga, in a residence over the years turned into a restaurant because of a tradition of Spanish culture. Preparation live and craft of Pepe Paella, always held by a member of the family, lasts approximately 2 hours. The size of Paella every day is planned according to the reserves and recommend arrive as soon as possible to monitor the preparation and know the curiosities. On Friday and Saturday nights the house turns into a real "Tablao Andaluz" with dance show and local music presented by the best of Sao Paulo flamenco schools.

My husband and I went there for the first time with some friends on a Sunday for lunch. We got there around 1pm and we were promptly attended. At first sight, it seems its a small place, but as you enter the restaurant, you can see its really big and confortable. The cool thing is the enormous pan where they prepare the paella in front of you! And once its ready, they play the bell and the line takes few seconds to be formed. I liked the paella a lot and i also enjoyed the sangria. I think the price was fare per person (R$69,00), since you can eat all you can. We didnt try any dessert as we were ok with the paella :)

We've been to Paellas Pepe several times, all I can say is that this restaurant became bigger and more professional (there is a hostess and several waiters now) compared to the beginning. The happiest part is that their paella is still delicious and has not changed a bit since. Service is very good and corteous, simply ask for one more small lobster when you´re served and they will fulfill your desire. A jar of sangria (red wine, sparkling water and fruit) makes it even more tasty. Be prepared for some noise though, if it is packed with people. Love it!

Simply delicious! We started with a clam chowder and then we went to the paella, served at home and very well prepared ... plenty of shrimps, prawns and seafood, it is prepared in a bar, in plain sight. The sangria is a must, refreshing and delicious. There was no space for the dessert: we had to split a chocolate mousse washed down the liquor in two!

Paellas Pepe is perfect if you like Spanish food and particularly paella. We chose the buffet menu which included the choice of 3 starters, all you can eat Paella and a choice of 2 desserts. It's very good value. The paella comes with a selection of seafood, chicken and large prawns which were very tasty.

After the meal there was a flamenco show with dancers. It's 16 reais each to watch the show so make sure to say if you don't want to pay for it so you can sit in a different section of the restaurant.

There is a decent wine list and a selection of Spanish beers and sangria.

Paellas Peppe was a most rewarding experience for me and my husband last night.

The all you can eat Paella, to the value of less than 20 US Dollars per person, is honest and tasty: as you get served by the paella cook you are even allowed to choose the sea food of your preference.

Spanish wines are nice and the shrimp appetizer a delicacy.

The Flamenco Show is offered only on Fridays and Saturday's, and reservations needed.
