Located right at the Praia Joaquina. During the day the area is frequently visited by sun worshippers, after dark the place goes very quiet. There's really nothing to do, it's a half an hour walk to some bars, restaurants and shops. But if you like the sound of the ocean, you will love this place. The bus stops right in front of the hotel.
Unfortunately the hotel itself has seen better days. The rooms and communal areas are in need of some attention. Not everything works as it should, and impossible to keep the sand out when it's windy.
Breakfast is good with enough choice. We found the service quite nice too (the lady at the reception spoke some spanish and some english).More
