I was in Rio about 12 years ago and happened to bump in this small little restaurant. I remember it had just opened the owner barely could speak Portuguese but I remember the scents and the flavours... I returned to Rio over 50 times since this first visit but since I did not take a business card could never remember the name nor the location... This weekend we went to Rio again and accidentally bumped in this place again! I was really happy and felt the same cozy sensation to return to my grandma's place. The place IS small, IS not chic and IS not brand new, but the food was comfy and the owner and chef keep presenting us real delicacies. The best of all, despite being in Copacabana it's a very fair price and you will have a great meal without leaving your clothes behind!
