My partner and I stayed here for three nights when we travelled to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore. The hotel has an inviting ambiance and the hotel lobby is a striking with its Victorian style furniture. The staff are very accommodating and helpful to us during our stay especially the staff in their Lemon Garden restaurant. Food at Lemon Garden is excellent with a lot of choices from Western, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Japanese, vegetarian and so on.

Our room is large with a stunning city views. The bed is very comfy as well.

We usually have our dinner in their bar and grill pub located on Level 1 " Arthur's Bar and Grill". Food are very good and reasonably prices for a five star hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel has a small maze garden which is perfect for instagrammable photoshoot :)

Overall we really like the place and we will definitely come back.

Room Tip: 13th Floor with the city view

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights
Brilliant location for sightseeing, local bars and restaurants
Everything within walking distance
Hotel is beautiful, everything to a high standard
Breakfast in the Horizon Club is very nice but very limited
We only ate here once out of the three mornings and then had breakfast in the restaurant on the ground floor. Excellent choices and plentiful.

Given the age of the hotel, it's extremely impressive to see the hotel so well maintained. The hotel is well located with proximity to key tourist spots.
Our interaction was largely with Horizon Club staff and the team there is wonderful. Special thanks to Yune, Sri, Rajan... I could go on !! There's some room to have such staff in the restaurant though.
Horizon Club team, thanks much for the wonderful gesture of celebrating my little one's birthday week.
Look forward to our next trip soon!!

Room Tip: Prefer premium or suite should you take the club room, executive rooms are quite small.

This hotel has been around for as long as I can remember and stepping inside it’s like going back in time when I used to stay here or dine with my parents. It’s not old , it’s more like those Da Vinci furnishing , timeless classic with elegance ✨
Spacious room and bathroom, pool is abit small but the lounging area is big so plenty of cabana to relax and unwind.
Breakfast spread was more satisfying than dinner for me , perhaps coz the crowd was overwhelming during dinner. A good place to stay in town but not exactly walking distance to nearby attractions although they did provide shuttle service

Stayed first time at Shangri-La in Kuala Lumpur and just like in other countries, our stay at the Shangri-La was perfect. The rooms are specious and very clean, breakfast was very good. The staff was nice and helpful. The Hotel is just a short walk from the Petrona Towers away.I cant complain about anything. We will definately stay here again
