This is the best hotel we have stayed at anywhere in the world. Very high tech bathroom. Absolutely immaculate rooms. Excellent wifi and excellent breakfast complete with good coffee. Excellent location. Close to Grandma's Home which is an authentic but reasonable restaurant. Also within walking distance of the park where they have a free light and music performance using a fountain and a free laser light show on the museum building just a little bit further on. The street on the way is lit up Shanghai style and we felt very safe as we have everywhere in China. There are police everywhere with flashing blue and red lights on their shoulder. There are major metro stops there and designated areas to cross the street.

The rooms are very beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bathrooms are large. Mine had both a shower and a separate tub. The TV has a few English language channels. Everything is very modern with remote controlled curtains, lights, etc. In the evenings, there is often an amazing pianist in the lobby. The breakfast is excellent, but it seems like they serve the same things every day at breakfast, lunch and dinner so if you're looking for variety, go out. There's also a Starbucks across the street and the famous silks market is just a few blocks away past the football stadium. There are tons of modern new restaurants a few books away if you exit the hotel and turn left at the first major street. The Fortune Chinese Restaurant in the hotel is absolutely amazing.

Room tip: Corner rooms are very large

Stayed here on our China trip 2 nights. Was a really good hotel with a great breakfast buffet. Got a big nice room that was well kept up. Only let down was the gym, most machines didn't work but this seems to be a general issue in China. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, I highly could recommend the grandma's just across the street.

My partner and I spent 10 nights in the Zhejiang International Hotel just few days ago and we are still full of very positive experience with this hotel - as it has everything you would ask from top hotel in China. The swimming pool, the gym, the perfect view from the 22 level (obstructed by the daily smog) and top quality smorgasbord style breakfast. Hotel is close to all amenities as are shops, night market place, the magnificent West Lake, bus and railway station with its superior bullet train which will take you to Shanghai or Yiwu market‎ (the ultimate shoppers paradise) below 1 hour of travel. There is only one negative aspect in our otherwise perfect stay - The extremely poor mastery of English from EVERYONE (except the concierge) working in this hotel. Ohh well - even the paradise did have the snake....lol

Room tip: Select the nonsmoking levels 20 and 22 as the rest of them stinks like some cheap Shanghai brothel.

As modern as Hang Zhou itself. We like walking so the distance of 2 km to the Western lake was any problem for us. The room was quite large, the cuisine was very good. Just everything you want from a 5 stars hotel.
It was a pleasant stay in this place.
