A hotel to rival the great Peninsular in Hong Kong or the George V. Superb breakfast and large airy room completed a great stay. The staff were friendly ands helpful; and the location was excellent. Very suitable for our needs.

The hotel itself is not in the city but a 15 minute drive outside. It is next to a petrol station which unfortunately also leaves an unimpressive smell.

The rooms are extremely basic with as good as concrete flooring, uncomfy beds and outdated furniture. There is no airconditioning at all and the windows have a sticker indicating if you domt want bugs in your room, dont open the window ...

The page claims they have all amenities a modern hotel needs but that really does not apply. It feels old, shabby and just not a nice stay. The restaurant is quite alright though but thats the only positive I can really say except for the fact it was relatively clean.

Can't say anything very good nor very bad about this place. It's located on the outskirts of Kaliningrad and thus your way to the center of the city is not very convenient. Rooms are light and clean but lack cosiness. The theme of this hotel is sea and seafarers but this unteresting idea is implemented indifferently mostly through cheap pictures and maps on the walls. Breakfast is good but all in all three stars out of five. P.S. It seemed to me that they also let people in on hourly pay basis if you know what I mean.
