The weather turned nasty and we had seen this bar recommended.
I really like my wine and was a bit worried about moving away from the usual Europe or New World bottles.
I have no idea how to pronounce it ... but try the the Crimean Cabernet Franc. The first bottle got better.... really enjoyed the second!
We also had spaghetti with crab, duck, cauliflower cheese and a 'mushroom special'. All were really good and sensible portions.
Our 'quick stop-off' was two and a half hours!
Fantastic find... highly recommend.

Thank Andrew M

I was introduced to Brix by an American friend who lived nearby and it became one of my favourite spots. Good food, nice staff, very friendly atmosphere. I really miss it!

Food was good. I expect a better wine list from a wine bar. Inside is relaxed and comfortable. Service is efficient due to small number of tables, though almost being full. It is definitely a place I will visit again.

Been here few times - consistently good food, and wine list seems to get cheaper and cheaper without any sacrifice of quality. Latest visit was for business- 4 people had plenty of food, and 4 bottles of good wine for under rub20k - or $350. Waitress changed plates and silverware like 6 times - felt bad for the environment after a while. Tried most sharing plates - all OK, nothing stands out. Main courses is the way to go - all 4 were great. Deserts did not get to as moved on to Uilliams for serious drinking - but thats another story... Would come back with wife, or small group for buziness.

Brix is a cozy wine bar located on a quiet Moscow side street. Decent wine selection combines with great atmosphere and laconic yet well considered menu. Book your table in advance.
