Speciality beers are the main attraction but also has an extensive menu with lots of bar snacks and and large selection of steaks, ribs, burgers - and a few dishes for vegetarians too!

We were delighted to found this restaurant in the area. Very nice selection of beers with nice quality (cheers from Czech republic ) and yummy chicken wings definitely improved that cold evening for us

There are many reasons to love Yan Primus. For me, it started when they asked for my ID. But when I looked at the beer menu, that's when I really fell in love. The breadth of options is astounding. Belgian beers, IPAs, Pilsners, it's all here. And the best part is that everything on the menu is actually available! No "sorry, we're out of that right now!" which seems to hapen with unforunate regularity at some places.
The building itself is another cause for enjoyment. Yan Primus is much larger than it seems when seen from the street. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a playroom for kids (so I imagine it would be a nice place for Mom and Dad to knock back a few while the little ones are preoccupied). There are various interesting knickknacks set up around the place, and there are tons of windows which make for lots of natural light. But the real eye-catcher is the chandeliers, which are formidible structures made of iron rings and beer glasses. I felt like a Viking who'd finally made it to Valhalla. Yan Primus certainly does not lack for atmosphere.
The waitstaff is very friendly and service is efficient and quick. True story: they will give you a discount if it's your birthday! But even full-price is reasonable. In short, go here: you will love it.
