If you are looking for souvenirs or the flee market experience, this is your place!
If you are looking for an authentic Russian fort, as the name "Izmailovsky Kremlin" suggests, forget it: it's gaudy and awful looking. Sorry.

A good attraction for a Saturday morning/afternoon in about 30 min metro/train from Moscow center. It is a huge flea mkt with antiques (collectibles, decorations, furniture) and also a whole section with traditional souvenirs (matryoshka, hats, books).

It is one of the most beutiful places in moscow a the best place to buy soveniers but you should haggle over prices.
The area is full of awesome buildings and it is great for taking photos.
The main market is on the ground floor

Fun day to walk around and enjoy some food, shopping and free entertainment. Easy to access by Metro. A unique setting with colourful buildings. I recommend going during the weekend when the Flea market is on, so you will have an opportunity to purchase a variety of unique items as well as the mass produced souvenirs The souvenir prices are generally slightly lower than the shops in Moscow. It does get very busy so but not overwhelming. It does have a nice atmosphere. I recommend making it a trip to purchase your souvenirs and enjoy the great food.

i loved it. First off it has everything you would like in an open market. New things and old. Garage sale type as well. Food cooked in front of you and homemade drinks that you will not find anywhere.
Don't miss it in the summer time.
