I have stayed in this hotel for the second time. First was in Feb 2018 and now when I decided to visit Moscow I didn't hesitate to book the same hotel again. It didn't disappoint. Still very clean rooms, very friendly staff, great receptionists that try to help you in every little detail you may need or want. Location is great and you do not even need metro station (which is not too far away) much if you are sightseeing as you are right in the middle of things in this hotel and can get to all primary locations on foot. The street is very lively and busy at night but this adds to the charm of being in the middle of things and it's not too noisy so you can't fall asleep. I also like room design very much and bed is very comfortable.

Prokovka 6 is a brand new hotel. It is a three star hotel officially, and it’s relatively small rooms, lack of public areas, and lack of elevators, confirm this. However, the rooms are very well-designed, modern, and airy with excellent bathroom and air conditioning facilities and everything that most travelers require. Among its many advantages are an excellent reception staff, who provide in effect the services that a concierge would at a five-star hotel. The staff goes out of its way to accommodate travellers: for example, we arrived by the night train from St. Petersburg at about 7:30 AM. We expected simply to leave our bags in the hotel and return sometime in the afternoon to check in. To our surprise and delight, however, we were offered an empty room in which to shower and freshen up and returned several hours later to our larger room to which our bags had already been moved. Also the receptionists helped with directions, dinner reservations, and taxi rides. Also, the location is first rate: a 15 to 20 minute walk to Red Square and the Kremlin, and easy access to several metro lines. Moreover, the hotel is in a lovely area that is full of bars and restaurants and is frequented more by locals then by tourists. Also, for those who are interested, the hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from Moscow’s main synagogue. There is really nothing negative to say about this hotel, although it would be nice if there were one or two English or even French or Spanish channels on the television but this is a mere quibble; Pokrovka 6 is a true gem that any visitor to Moscow should take advantage of!

The hotel has great staff, both Alex and Elena where helpful throughout our stay during the football world cup. It's close to a bus that runs to Red Square and also to a Metro Station, it's located in a trendy neighbourhood with a great irish pub next door. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

It is not really a hotel but rather a nice hostel. Rooms are small, very basic with the simplest amenities. I stayed in this hotel/hostel during the World Cup 2018 so options were really scarce and this hotel had a good rating mainly because of the location. The hotel/hostel is not really centered but it is located on a nice, vibrant street where you can find plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets but it is not walking distance from any attraction.
The staff were really really friendly and helpful and they helped us a lot finding our way around the city and ordering a van taxi to take us to the train station.
I gave it 4 stars because of the location, cleanliness and staff friendliness.
