Description: For 16 years in Cluj-Napoca, Tokyo Japanese Restaurant is the only place in town, besides a hotel, that is classified with 5*. Furthermore, Tokyo Japanese Restaurant is singular in Romania by following the original Edomae Sushi Style. Our owner and executive chef is Japanese Master Chef TSUCHIYA Naofumi, who is cooking his authentic style cuisine. Our recommendations are Tasting menu and Sushi Omakase Course. Both courses are serving 11 kinds of exquisite and beautiful dishes and deserts. Our menu also includes authentic Japanese drinks such as: Japanese beer (Asahi), Premium sake (Gynjo). As a tradition, our sushi chefs are participating annually at World Sushi Cup and Washoku World Challenge, organised in Japan, having great accomplishments. That been said, we are kindly expecting You on Marinescu Street, number 5 to enjoy our refined and original dishes!

One of the top restaurants in Cluj.
Cristian was our waiter. He was very thoughtful and polite. He was able to recommend tasty food and explained what are the ingredients we didn't know
The food was fresh and very very tasty.
It was a 5 star experience overall, highly appreciated by us given the pandemic situation.

Cluj never ceases to amase! Yet again, another extraordinary restaurant! The meals were very tasty and aromatic. We tried Teriyaki salmon and Katsudon, which were amazing. We haven't tried sushi, but we will definitely be back for those. The waiter was also very kind and caring. We received Sake and a starter on the house! Keep up the good work!
