Beautiful house, little odd location. You defiantly would not expect a restaurant in that area. We accidently discovered it by driving around. There is a big wooden sign outside the gate you can’t miss. We walked through the gate and went upstairs, by entering the house you walk into a living room dining area which is nice and cozy, the with glass covered tables look a little cheap. Nobody in the room to welcome us, after a few ayo ayo’s (hello hello’s) a young lady came out
The waitress clearly had no clue what she was doing; she was not familiar with the drinks and menu, she couldn’t answer any of our questions. There is no need to go into the details of our dinner it’s, simply not worth it to talk about it. Diner was probable prepared by the (only) waitress because she had been in the kitchen the entire time till our dinner was served.
At some point a big Guy in short and T.shirt walked into the dining, after opening himself a beer he came to our table and introduced himself as Chris, the owner of the Mansion. He must have been in the kitchen with the waitress and that explained a lot.
Besides the restaurant, “The mansion” is also a Guesthouse, Bed & Breakfast. We honestly have not seen the rooms so cannot Judge them, I only hope that they are better than the restaurant. We wish him luck, he needs it.

Stayed here one evening and my accommodation/ Room was just fine
Budget minded travelers should consider if wanting an inexpensive room with cable and wireless included , my room had a shared bath and shower but very clean N neat.

Restaurant offers many great selections from Italian to T Bone Steaks and with a full bar ,, great service and great food directly behind SM Ecoland on 6 th Street

BBQ dinners and lunches on most Sunday's, highly recommend

Thumbs up / recommend the Restaurant and is a sleeper and hidden gem in Davao
