Stayed in early August for 2 nights on a business trip on 39th floor.

Hotel itself is good, spacious room, great service, good facilities, prompt check in and check out. No issue with minibar for me.

Major negative: is the LIFT/Elevator. It is extremely confusing. I stayed three days and I could not figure it out comepletely.

Also, the room card did not work in the lift on both nights of my stay. Had to reactivate at the reception. Then one of the lift man told me to touch thesensor of the lift with key card and press floor number from the panel on other side of the lift door.

Liked the inroom tea coffee option. On the day of arrival, no fruit was served in the fruit basket.

They extended my check out for an extra 3 hours without any hassle.
Many taxi drivers don't know this place.

We got the hotel trasnfer to airport which was by a tine toyota vios, not a car for 5 star hotel.

Unless I have work committment in Ortigas, I will not stay here again as there are better options available.

Room Tip: Choose high floor rooms to avoid loud music from Metrowalk mall across the street

I stayed for 4 nights for a business trip and booked this hotel as my office was in the building next door. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. There are some areas that could be improved:
1) When checking out, the front desk staff took a long time to settle my bill and insisted that 2 Coke Zeros were taken from the minibar. I had to dispute the claim. The hotel should check the minibar contents before guests checked in to avoid such issues.
2) The light switch on the left side of the bed turned on the lights on the right and vice versa perhaps due to wiring error.
3) The aircon vent being above the desk made it too cold to work on the desk. Reducing the aircon to 25 degrees Celsius and low fan did not help. I had to turn the aircon off to work.
4) Every night, some live band would start their performance at around 10pm which lasted past 12am making it difficult to get proper rest. Despite being on the 31st floor, it was loud.
It is obvious that the hotel is trying to emulate 5 star hotels and while the service of the greeting, restaurant and room service staff are great, there are areas as mentioned that could be looked into as those are what matters for business travellers.

Nice new hotel that just opened in January. Spacious, modern, and comfortable rooms, good buffet breakfast and dinner. Only negative was that my room was facing Metrowalk which is an outdoor space that does live music on evenings. I was there on a Wednesday and Thursday night and despite being on the 36th Floor could hear the music very clearly until they stopped sometime between 11:30pm and midnight. So if you want a quiet stay request a room facing the other side!

I can't recommend this place highly enough. The rooms are amazing. The staff are all lovely. I was not a big fan of the food but it's edible. Also breakfast at $35 SGD is not value for money however there is a nice cafe downstairs in the lobby area which is much better value.

Stayed for 3 nights. 2nd time staying at Marco Polo Ortigas and definitely my first choice for accommodation. Will return for sure. Rooms are nice, bed is comfortable. View is great. Fantastic service from staff (front desk, dining). Even the security guy doing night shift at my floor this week (Level 39) did his best to make sure that I was comfortable with my stay.

Highly recommended!
