The food was good but not excellent, and I had an issue paying with American Express which was not communicated before I made my order. They have a great handcrafted beer and the makis are good.

Came back to this restaurant last night, we ordered a couple of rolls and local beers but after the bill came we found out that they dont accept any credit card but Visa, this was a new change in management and if you are like us and many other tourist in the area we dont have much options around cash in local currency or have 3 types of credit cards.

The hostess said that this was our fault for not noticing the small Visa banner outside the door and didn't provide many options to resolve the situation.

No matters how good is the food if the service is this bad and dont give out proper warnings in the type of payment the accept in the establishment they are going to continue to get this kind of negative reactions.

Wont be coming back any time some.

A great Japanese restaurant, which provides lots of great sushi flavours with a Peruvian twist. Some of the best sushi I've eaten. Quite well priced too (compared to Australian standards). My friend also got one of the hot meals which looked delicious. Delicious maracuya and Pisco sours, and craft beers.

Try Tataki roll, acevichado, dragon verde and spicy kani, you won't regret it. Be early at the restaurant because there is always a waiting line

Overall the sushi & ceviche was good. But unfortunately a lot of the sushi rolls and some of the ceviche we had were literally swimming in a type of mayonnaise which overpowered the more subtle flavours of the fish, rice and other ingredients. If I was to go back I would ask for 'no mayonnaise please!' Sushi was well made and rice was good consistency. Temaki sushi gives you opportunity to create your own, such as Salmon & Avocado.
It is a busy place, and was full even on a Tuesday when we went. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Not cheap, but comparative to US/European sushi bar prices. Worth a visit if you need a sushi fix, like us!
