San Jose Beach is organised pretty well and has plenty of seating, bars, restaurants, and toilet facilities.

While this is a nice beach it does get really really busy. So head to another beach close by and have a bit more space and tranquillity.
but enjoy, this is a nice place to take a dip.

It was to cold for a swim but the sand was great, nice view. Public restrooms available, 2000 for bathroom and 5000 for a shower

This is the river bank turned into a beach in the city centre. It's deserted during the day as everyone is having a siesta during the hot humid hours, but at night it livens up and is a romantic place to walk.

This is a wonderful beach on the Parana River, with a view of Posada, Argentina on the far shore. It's a wide beach with fine sand (no gravel !) and offers a variety of options for food and beverages at the edge of the beach.
It's also very secure - there's a police patrol, but I never saw the need for that during the day.
There is ample parking.
