Got to see baby turtles just as they hatched and the mother turtle digging a hole to bury her eggs. The hotel guides made sure we got the full experience, even though it wasn’t the season.

Excellent hotel staff and amazing tour guides who clearly explained and answered all our questions as they showed us the turtles.

Hotel tents made the experience much nicer, however didn’t offer much privacy as all tents are very close to each other.

Breakfast buffet was ok and had a number of options.

Ras Al Jinz is a place where you could watch turtles. The most interesting thing was they had very good Tour guides who speak both English and arabic languages. The service in the restaurant was very good and a place where some one does not know what is vegetarian food, we got pure Jain food. The chef had done his best to serve us Jain food.

If at all you want to see the turtles and stay overnight, I would suggest to stay in Ras al Jinz Turtle reserve rather than any place outside.

Room tip: Family tents with sea view

We stayed in Carapace room. Dinner was not their in our room rate, but they generously added the dinner without anything extra to pay.
Room was large enough for 2+1 people.
Buffet Dinner was served at 7pm and it was really good, especially for a vegetarian (Dhal, Rice etc.).
8:20pm we assembled for the night tours and we saw 1 big green turtle. Our Guide Said al Amri was very informative.
we did again morning tour at 5am and saw 2 big turtles leaving back to sea.
My kid carried many baby turtles and left them to the waters.
Morning breakfast was great as well (paratha, aloo mutter)
Overall it was a good experience.

Regarding the facilities, there was no other activity to do until the night tour. Cycles was not in good condition.

This place is beautiful and amazes you at first glance. The hospitality is second to none. Mr. Jithesh was very polite and made sure the dishes were delicious. Services were awesome. And because it was during the pandemic, every place was extremely well maintained and hygienic. Visiting turtles is the heart of the place, it was extraordinary. The guide explained everything politely. Overall this is a place that one shouldn't miss.
