Staying at the Riad Darsal was made easy at the start by Sally who was always available to answer questions, and arrange for a trip to Marrakech with her on site guide Faoud.
On arrival, transport to the Riad went smoothly and Essaouira is a lovely smallish laidback town with a fantastic beach and medina full of character but easily accessible. Nowhere near the hassle factor of Fez and Marrakech.
Aiida made great breakfasts each morning and her tagines are to die for. The food everywhere tastes like it once did in Britain before mass production. The Riad itself had everything one needs for a great stay. The kettle stopped working and was replaced within hours. Faoud fixed up the trip to Marrakesh and his driver was safe and a nice guy.
The outside terrace is a lovely sunning site, and by March should also be good for outside breakfast too.
In summary a lovely Riad in a lovely town. Can't wait to return.More
