Close to the train centrain station and to the city center. The rooms are rather small, but clean. Perfect for short stay in the city. The beds are not comfy. Way too hard! The staff doesn't really speak english, so communicating is a bit tricky, but with a smile and your hands it works out alright.

Rooms are small but so are train luggage racks. Our luggage was ok. Climbing over your partner to get out of bed worst problem we had. Spotlessly clean and wonderful hot water. Faced the station and could hear train but windows cut out a lot of noise. Slept well after walking miles.

We were allocated a lot bigger room than normal business hotel size so it was very comfortable. It's right next to JR train station but we hardly noticed any noise and didn't bother us at all. There are lots of places to eat and souvenir shopping close by. Nice walk to Nara Park & Big Buddha.
The room had everything we needed, wouldn't say it was perfectly clean but it was clean enough and it was only ¥6000 for the night for two people.

In order to go to most major sightseeing spots in Nara, it is more convenient to use the hotels around Kintetsu Nara Station. You feel that it it a bit far to go there when you stay at this hotel. To mention another drawback, it takes some time to use the hot water of the shower. Excluding these two points, you will be able to stay at this hotel without feeling any discomfort.
As you know, The price of hotels in holidays will soar. However, I feel that the increasing rate of price of this hotels to stay is not that high. If you want to keep your accommodation costs cheaply, I think that this hotel is one of your choices.

Hotel is very close to the JR Nara Station, it is just next to the station, very convenience, but there are also noise problem if your room is facing the tracks like what we have. They use central air con for the building, which mean if you wanna use air con for cooling, sorry it is not possible in November (I come from a cold country, I felt it is too early to have the heat on in Nara), all you will get is the Heat, which you need to open the window if you some fresh air and cool breeze at night.......that end up with train noise. Since JR Nara is a very popular station, trains won't stop until 1am and it begin again on around 4:30am, so if you are a light sleeping person, you won't get much rest. Aside for this part, the rest of the hotel is very nice, and they got a cooling parking system, breakfast you can choose between Japanese style or the western scramble eggs & sausages. Staffs might not be very fluent in English but simple English can get the job done, if you really have problem like we tried to change room, have your google translator really, it will be handy.

Room tip: Be sure not to choose the rooms facing the train station
