A nice park that has excellent walking paths around a large pond. Very peaceful and quiet.

Great for an early morning stroll or a picnic lunch sitting near the water in the sun.

Tsukuba has excellent walking/biking paths that connect most of the Institutes and the University. Doho park is accessible by one of these paths and provides excellent grounds for jogging and other early morning activities. The Andersen bakery near the Doho park provides excellent pastures and coffee from 8 AM. Other coffee and cake shops near the park open later. Enjoy physical activity and refreshments!

Just a short us a way from Tsukuba center is Doho park, a beautiful tranquil place with a pond, running/walking and cycling paths, obstacle race area, playground, stretches of green grass, and even an indoor heated pool (perfect for swimming during winter months). If you need time off to relax and feed some ducks, this is the perfect place!

Wonderful nature, sports facilities including 50m pool, Simple but good food at Ahiru Cafe. Parking can be a challenge.

This park is my favorite in Tsukuba. Is big, has several spaces and also a swimming pool for public use (around 340¥ for 2 hours of usage).
