We found this restaurant while wandering along the river front, and were so glad we did. It was the best meal we had in our five nights in Hoi An. There is a pleasant garden to sit in, an innovative cocktail menu and the food is above the ordinary. First, the cocktails: an inspiring list containing lots of fruit and herbs as well as the usual mojito varieties. My 'tropical chill' was a dream of rum, lime, mango, mint, honey and passionfruit - so delicious! Then the food - also an imaginative menu, and everything we tried was tasty, fresh and visually beautiful. We had a chicken with red and white cabbage and herbs salad, a vermicelli with pork and pickled garlic (which was excellent) and a prawn and squid stir-fry. Great food.
Service was good too - not overly effusive (and we liked that), just attentive enough. And we paid a bit more than normal for a meal in Vietnam at about 800,000 VD (three mains plus our beers and cocktails), but we felt it was good value for such a lovely meal. Recommended.
