Malahit was rated as a five star hotel. It is clean and fine, but four stars are certainly enough. It is located a little bit in the middle of nowhere, about 2 kilometres from the city centre, although the beautiful beach bulevard is only 200 meters from the hotel. The bathroom was roomy and well-organized with a separate shower and bathtub. The breakfast was a bit poor, maybe because there were only few customers.

The hotel was really nice, especially for the price. The room was comfortable, clean and better than expected (the bed was great). The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. I did stay out of season so the pool was being cleaned, but It does look great.
Probably the only slight negative was the distance to the centre. Although it is very close to the sea, its about a 30 min (brisk) walk to the centre. It is, however a really nice walk, or you can take the dolmus easily from outside the hotel, and its 10 mins to town).
Having said that, its nice to be away from the noise of the centre.

We stayed here 5 nights. There are lots of positives for this fairly new hotel - the staff, the grounds, the set up in the room, the breakfast, and the convenience to both Fethiye and Calis Beach. They have taken extra pains to make the rooms comfortable with a very large bathroom, separate stalls for the shower and toilet and still a bathtub with shower. There are hooks (often not found in bathrooms or closets), plenty of storage space, a nice sitting area in the room, nice bedding. Things missing are a hotpot (although coffee and tea are available in the lobby), consistent a/c (I think just not strong enough to support the facility - it kept going off) and food served at lunch and dinner. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, moving us to a new room to address the a/c issue. They even served us wine and fruit by the pool as an 'apology'. We walked into Fethiye along the water - and found many restaurants along the way. If you are not into any walking, the dolmus brings you and drops you right in front of the hotel. There is a nice, large grocery store right next door!

Room Tip: Upper floors are quieter, poolside is nice.

Stayed here for a week in mid September. The hotel is new and well maintained. The staff speak limited English but are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are of a good size and have all that you would expect. The bathrooms are large and have the benefit of a seperate shower and a bath. The hotel only provides breakfast but there is a large selection to chose from although the food was cold even at 8am. The hotel is very impressive and gets bigger the more one explores. There seemed to be only a few guests mid week but the number picked up for the weekend and included the Ankara football team. I enjoyed my stay here and can recommend it to others
