You think you saw the photos on the website but once you find yourself in the real place you go crazy ! It's breathtaking. We stayed in the mor room that had a very nice living room with with the sea and mountain view and a crazy bathroom with an amazing view with a small private terrace. We were just above the kitchen and could smell the fresh homemade breads baking in the morning and the other delicious local food in the evening. The pool is also amazing. By car it's a 30-45 min drive to Xanthos, Patara and Saklikent. The hotel is decorated with a lot of charm and feels like a Turkish traditional mountain house. If you can, yes, do stop by for a night or two and even three :) you will definitely enjoy the silence and breathtaking views.

One person's amazing is another's average, so reviews can change the way you experience a place. With this accommodation, it's all about managing expectations.

Views, incredible!! The gardens are beautiful.

Food, delicious!!
It does favour vegetarian, but meat eaters alike will enjoy. Drinks are not included and we would've liked the option of lunch snacks (fruits, nuts, bread).

The rooms are more rustic than we expected. Remember it's high in the mountains in remote place, so maintenance might be challenging. Rooms can do with repairs (shower leaks, lamp shade lies broken in bathroom, only soap, no shampoo etc). Guests shouldn't have to report these, management will see these when they inspect rooms.

Owner and staff were a bit unapproachable. I had to interrupt their dinner to ask questions that should be communicated, like hike info, meal times, yoga classes, check-out etc.

Price may be a bit high, but better maintenance of rooms and more info and welcome would make it realistic for what you get.

Solitude and quietude is what I experience whenever I stay here. It's like being at your own castle with a view. This view cannot be described, it can only be experienced with your eyes, with your skin, with the wind in your hair. If you combine this experience with excellent service and eloquent architecture, you get close to perfection.

Room Tip: All rooms are unique.

You cant beat the setting for this hotel, it's stunning. The rooms are spacious and well appointed.
The service was terrible when we stayed. The pool area was dirty and uncared for. There was no common area open for tea or pre dinner drinks. When the dining room opened for dinner we were not told our food was on the buffet round the corner, consequently by the time we worked out where and what to do the dishes were luke warm. We had a cold dinner.
One of the owners came out to say hello but didn't stay to chat and scuttled off as quick as possible ... this came across as rude but it may have just been shyness. We didn't feel welcome here.
Breakfast was good.

In our hotel we have big lounge area for our guests to sit and relax. Also we have other common places as well. Dining room door is always open. We don't lock it. Guest can spend time there whenever they wish for.
We try to clean open places as much as we can. But weather conditions change so quickly in our altitude. This reason some dust and dry leaves cover open areas quicker than our staf can clean. Being in the middle of nature has surprises.
If our guests tell us their problem while they are here we can do our best to solve the problems.
Thank you for choosing our hotel to stay. I wish i could have helped you while you are here.

1800 metres above sea level in the Taurus mountains this delightful small boutique hotel has much to offer by way of relaxing and rejuvenating the soul. Situated one kilometre outside the small village of Yediburunlar (means 7 noses relating to the headlands) it offers total peace & quiet with only the sounds of the sea, wind, birds and goats. Only vegetarian food served. We found the evening meal an overall disappointing experience with poor service and lack of welcome. However the location and stunning views and walks made up for this. It's not cheap but for a special occasion worth splashing out for.
