Where do you start with this lovely village . We have an apartment in Hisaronu and ensure that we visit Kaya at least 3-4 times when on a 2 week holiday . The views are spectacular, the walks through the fields and dusty roads are just lovely , lovely fresh cherry trees are blooming in May . The mountainside walks are superb and the views from there are just as lovely . There is also the old ruins are a stunning site and tour. On top of this some of the best restaurants are located , ROCCA, Chinbau, Izela are too name but a few . Overall a must visit

I did a 3 hour horse riding trek and we stopped in kayakoy for refreshments, no wonder they call it the ghost town even though there are a few bars and restuarants its still an eerie place with allthe various deserted building , will definately visit again.

The village itself is very interesting. Be aware that it can be hot, exposed, and with very little shade, so bring sunscreen. Saw a tortoise on the path, which was cool. The trailhead for the path to Oludeniz is here (Lycian way), but the path is not at all clear. We ended up following the red dots and red arrows down the wrong path and were stranded on a random beach far from Oludeniz. Use caution when wayfinding if you're hiking! But plenty of beautiful views in the village itself and on the hike down to Oludeniz. Enjoy!
