What a lovely time we had. Felt very safe, everyone was helpful and wanted to to have a good time. Something on every night loved the mini disco.
Would visit again. We had a pictures taken by the Professional photographer. Very good

Room Tip: Block D is very good, the other overlook the pool and can be noisy.

I returned back to Kentia Apartments after having a 5 year break ( have been 5 times to the same apartment with my family ). After arriving late to the apartments we were welcomed by the lovely receptionist who showed us to our room ( D07). This particular room didn’t have a great view as it over looked the children’s mini park but as we didn’t really spend much time in our room it didn’t bother us!!!

There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool area, would recommend going down at 6am to get a sunbed but didn’t have any problems in this area.

It was very lovely to be recognised by Soner and the rest of the team after so many years, thank you very much for looking after me and my other half!!!

There are plenty of things to do during the day including water polo and darts!! The entertainment team were fab!!

There is a free shuttle bus going to the beach every day and taxi rank outside the apartments. The food in the area was amazing, Devi recommend the restaurant opposite the mosque which is 5 minutes down the road!

Can’t wait to return next year!!

Having never been to Side and having arrived late at night it was a wonderful surprise to see how the family run hotel in all its glory. Very helpful staff beautiful gardens and clean accomodation.A special mention for restraunt manager Soner who was magnificent very helpful indeed as where all the staff. Most rooms overlook the pool with a shop on site to get basics if you want more there are several supermarkets within walking distance.its quite cheap to est out however after adding taxi fares etc the price and quality from the al a carte was worth it.Highly recommend chateau briand for 140 lire for 2.We will be making a return visit nect year so look forward to our return cheers

Spent a week away at Kentia and had an amazing time. The staff were so friendly and the first half of the week that I was there was very chilled and quiet, however as it got busier that was a bit more of a fight for sun beds and queues for food. Breakfast starts at 8 then lunch at 12.30 followed by cake between 3-4 and ice cream between 4-5 then tea at 7. The food was good and varied...I came home five pounds heavier! The only thing I wasn’t keen on was some of the puddings which were like set custard but of different colours so I stuck to the sponge cakes and watermelon.
The entertainment in the evening was varied but I found the children’s entertainment the same every night but the team never lost their enthusiasm.
Also in the day was water polo, water aerobics, darts so a few things to do for those who are not sun worshippers.

Extras - Please note that if you pay for all inclusive there are still some extras you have to pay for. The air con is 170 Turkish liras for a week and the WiFi was about £6 for the week and you can access it all over the resort as it’s quite a small complex. You do not get any water or anything in the fridge in your room but can buy a massive bottle from the shop on site for next to nothing. Also the drinks are not all inclusive, cocktails are not part of it. But the local beer wine etc is, the rise wine is not bad with a lemonade top. I just found it didn’t matter how much you drank you couldn’t get drunk. Furthermore you have to pay for the a la carte menu.

Tips -
1) take your own beach towels and travel iron as these aren’t provided.

2) Also have a Turkish Bath the first day you are there. It was 195 Turkish liras for two hours. You are put in a warm room on a marble hot slab then you are washed down, scrubbed (to get rid of your dead skin) followed by a foamy massage which smelt and felt great. After you have been in there for about half hour you have a face mask put on and served drinks for half hour followed by a hours massage. So a total of two hours for about £31 which is so cheap and felt really good.

3) They do have mosquitos there so if your prone to bites take some spray, I only got bit twice the whole holiday.

4) there are mattresses to lay on the sun loungers which can be found behind the outside bar near the kids pool, not everyone knows about them.

A special thanks to Mehmet for entertaining us in the day with the water sports, Sonar who manages the bar near the restaurant, he was always happy to help no matter what and very friendly, and so many other staff who made our stay enjoyable.

Overall I had a lovely holiday, I would go back but I never go to the same place twice but would 100% recommend.

This is our third visit to Kentia and once again it didn't disappoint.Pool and gardens are still kept immaculate and the gardeners and pool guy are out there nearly every day to ensure it stays that way.The on site shop is still very reasonably priced and we used it every day.The Guy on reception was very helpful and friendly. The animation team do a very good job but will not push you to join in if you don't want to.The hotel is about a 20 min walk to the old town which cost 20TL in a taxi.Pool Bar had a good choice of food at good prices. I cant comment on evening meal as we were only B&B. Only downside was that housekeeping came around a little late in the day.Overall another relaxed holiday which we will definitely be repeating in the future.
Thank you to the entire team at Kentia we will see you next year.
