The Villa is located in the quiet area of Kisla with stunning views of Kalkan bay. It is just as the reviews had described it, “Amazing”
The Villa is very modern, clean and spacious enough to accommodate us a group of 8 people. The pool was a good size and the water just right too.
Sukru would come every morning to clean the pool/ garden and check if we needed anything. He’s really friendly and we looked forward to seeing him in the mornings.
Kalkan Beach Club is only 5 mins down hill and around the corner there’s small supermarket that sells your everyday essential items and a bigger one further up the hill. Fidanka and Bobs restaurant close to the villa serve some delicious food.
Villa White Lycia has everything that you need for a relaxing holiday, we really enjoyed our stay and hoped we’d booked a few more days more. I will definitely be recommending Villa white Lycia to others and hope to return there with my family again.
We are missing Kalkan already.
Fantastic Villa in fantastic location with fantastic view over Kalkan bay. We’ve been to Kalkan many times but hadn’t really considered Kisla before, we’re now regretting that. Whilst you are a bit out of town it’s only a 5-minute, £3 taxi ride away, or even better take the Kalkan Beach park boat which is a 10-minute trip across the bay to the harbour entrance and a great way to start your evening. Just have drink in the beach club bar and they will ring for the boat to come and pick you up.
If you don’t want to go into town there are a few restaurants locally, and Bob’s shop (2 mins walk) has all the daily essentials (bread, beer etc) and a restaurant with a stunning view. The restaurant at Villa Mahal (10 mins walk) is a must for a romantic meal for 2, (book when you arrive as its very popular) tables are set right by the water and the food and service is excellent; as it is in every restaurant we ate in.
The Villa itself is stunning, set over 4 floors with room to spread out if there are 8 of you, its also worth pointing out that it’s also equipped for 8, there aren’t just 8 plates and 8 glasses like some places we’ve stayed but cupboards full!
Tim, the owner was brilliant from the initial booking through to the end of our stay and beyond. The one maintenance issue we had was fixed immediately and Sukru was on hand every day to maintain the pool and garden.
We enjoyed it so much we’re going back next year.
P.S. Thanks to the people who were in before us and left a good glug of Bombay Sapphire much appreciated! I wasn’t able to repeat to those following after us (we ran out on the last day) but we did leave some Efes.
Having just returned from a family holiday @ Villa White Lycia & one word, Fabulous. The villa is simply stunning & immaculate throughout. It was plenty big enough for our family of 5, it would fit 8 people comfortably. The pool was a good size & the outside space was very well designed with lots of sun & shade on the terrace when needed. The views are lovely with a beautiful sunset.
We all fell in love with Kalkan & loved getting the water taxi across the bay from Kishlar to Kalkan just for the views. We didn’t have a bad meal in Kalkan with plenty of choices from harbour to rooftop terraces.
Tim was great throughout, from my initial booking up to when we were leaving. Making sure everything ran smoothly & nothing was to much trouble.
I will definitely return to Kalkan & Villa White Lycia.
One tip, we went for brunch @ The Castle. It is a 4 minute walk away & is a great little place run by Daisy & her husband. Nothing is to much trouble & we had a couple of relaxing brunch/ lunches that were delicious.
We were absolutely thrilled with everything about this gorgeous villa. The decor in the villa was beautiful as was the outside space complete with the comfiest sun loungers ever. The infinity pool got the sun all day and was warm even at 7 o clock in the morning. Fantastic location with the beach club just down the road, a fabulous new restaurant at The Castle just around the corner and plenty of cheap taxis into Kalkan. Loads of brilliant restaurants in Kalkan - too many to mention but our favourite bar was the Botaniic Gardens complete with hammocks and a tree house. We had not been to Kalkan for four years but everything was just as we remembered it.
Excellent communication with Tim before the holiday and the transfers with Abi Travel which he recommended were absolutely faultless. All in all a 5 star holiday and we cant wait to go back.
The villa had stunning views and all the mod cons. The pool was beautiful and the water was warm. There were some nice restaurants and bars in walking distance. You could also walk to catch the ferry into town. I can't wait to go back.
