This week I am playing host and tour guide to friends from Australia. One of them wanted to go shopping for shoes, because as she said, there are styles available in Thailand unavailable back home, plus they are much cheaper here.
I took her to Central Plaza Rayong, which has the Robinson Department Store with a large shoe department, plus Central has several stand-alone shoe shops. My friend ended up buying six pairs of shoes. I think she is trying to outdo Imelda Marcos.
Central Plaza, of course, has much more than shoes. It has a large department store, a Tops Supermarket, many clothes and accessories shops, electronics and IT, a food court, and numerous restaurants, fast food joints and coffee shops.
