Stayed here three nights first week of June. We stayed in a building in the front and on the second floor. Hotel is outdated, broken screens in the bathroom, shower missing part of half of the sliding door, lizard poop in the bathroom, on the walls in the room, and on the floor. Not to mention the lizards that come into the room and bathroom. The door to the room is on the outside of the building, lots of lizards and geckos and bugs on the outside of the building walls. I understand this is nature, but a hotel should be able to do something to keep lizards from entering the rooms. Top of pool full of the flying bugs with huge wings.

Breakfast was decent. They changed it up each morning, and also had some of the same items each morning. Wi-Fi in the room was included but it didn't seem to work very well. Never had good connection.

It's not near the city center. There is a big C close by. But not much else. There's no spa there so not sure what the "spa" part of the hotel is. The lobby is full of alive and dead bugs. If you don't care about critters, you might like this hotel as it's Thai style. But if you have an aversion to critters and bugs, this wouldn't be the hotel for you.

Room tip: If you decide to stay here, get a room near the front. You might have less critters on the second floor.

Over 4 years ago I stayed in Teak Garden after teaching in Chiang Rai. I was revisiting the school this summer and wouldn’t have chosen anywhere else to stay for the few nights we were there. The hotel upgraded us to the honeymoon suite, which was of course dated due to the way the hotel is done our, but was still so spacious and lovely. A very nice treat after 24 hours of travelling. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the airport and there is a great little restaurant across the road. We drank at the hotel bar, despite it being a little expensive for the area the drinks were nice especially my favourite cocktail-A Pink Lady- which i discovered there 4 years ago. Breakfast was average. Thanks for a great stay.

The place is undergoing renovation at the moment. Not much being done just painting outside. The rooms need a good going over. Mould in the bathroom, the shower head is so clogged up that you have trouble getting wet. The toilet press button is broken and is easy to catch your finger on. The curtains are Roman blinds so as soon as the sun is up it comes in to the room. Most of the staff don't speak much English so it makes it hard to communicate. There are a lot of Chinese tourists at this hotel and it is very noisy in the dinning room.
Even though it has spa in the name there is no spa in the place. There is no information in the rooms, to tell you about anything.

We were greeted at check in with a frown. The room had the stale smell of cigarettes. The hallway smelled of garbage. Breakfast was cold. The bed was comfortable. Just not a place I would want to spend a long period.

This hotel is situated at the outskirt of the town center, near to the Chiang Rai Airport.
It is resort type of hotel with rooms housed in bungalow units. Each bungalow consists of 8 rooms, 4 at the ground floor and 4 at the first floor. The lobby is big and well designed. We were allotted rooms at the ground floor, so we don’t have problem of carrying luggage upstairs. The rooms are quite a distance from the lobby. Anyway, there are bell boys to help you to bring your luggage to the rooms.
There is a swimming pool at the resort. However we didn’t have time to enjoy this facility as were checked in late and checked out early.
Room is big with beds putting on a wooden platform. I think the wooden platform is a big too high. This may pose a problem with elderly guests who may want to go to the loo at night.
The room and washroom are both very clean. It provides drinking water as well as free wifi.
Breakfast is simple , with not much variety to choose from. It’s all Thai cuisine. I noticed most of the hotel guests are Europeans or Aussies.
There is no shop or eatery near the vicinity of the hotel. We booked this hotel because we needed to catch an early flight to Bangkok the next day.
Anyway, there is no complaint about this hotel.
