TrueAfrica planned a truly incredible trip for my husband and I and several friends in Uganda and Tanzania last year. It was a tremendous experience!! It was all we could have hoped for and much more!!! I will definitely plan to travel with TrueAfrica again.
Troy was amazing in planning our trip. He was incredibly helpful and patient as we had to rework our plans during Covid protocols. He was wonderful to work with, taking into consideration all of our groups interests, with tons of helpful suggestions.

My wife and I just got back from our 9-day Uganda safari trip, our second trip organized by TrueAfrica (first one to Tanzania a few years ago). Both being seasoned safari/Africa travellers, we had listed a chimp/gorilla trekking right at the top of our bucket list! Troy really listened to our personal wishes, and advised us what to see, do and experience.
Everything was organized to the very smallest detail, which made our trip absolutely amazing and carefree. Beautiful lodges, an amazing driver guide (Sam) and we did some great activities like canoeing, a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, game drives and also some needed R&R time. Thank you Troy, for (again) making our dream trip come true. We're already thinking about our next safari with TrueAfrica!

True Africa organized the most amazing family safari for us in Tanzania! We travel a lot, but this has been by far the best trip we have ever done! We had the most amazing guide Elissa who was so knowledgable, patient and answered literally every single question. He was also the kindest and nicest person who made the 7 days we were together on the safari the most unbelievable experience ! The lodges where we stayed were absolutely amazing and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
Cant wait for another safari!

We booked our trip with True Africa (Troy Smit) for the 2nd time! Once again, it was a fantastic trip! The accommodations are beyond amazing, unique and very good quality. In addition, they completely unburden you! They are accurate, super friendly, fast, always available and able to find a good and appropriate solution if necessary.
We will definitely book with True Africa again for our next Africa trip! As far as we are concerned, the best travel agency in Africa!!! (we did Tanzania, Zanzibar, South Africa and Namibia with them)

Thank you Troy and team for helping plan the honeymoon of a lifetime for us! TrueAfrica went above and beyond to plan a very logistical trip -- from Kilimanjaro Lemosho hike to safari in Ngorongoro to Serengeti and to Zanzibar. They were incredibly responsive throughout and even managed to accommodate a last minute shift on our end during peak season of Christmas time - we are so grateful.
We felt extremely safe our entire time in Tanzania and they made our honeymoon feel very special. I highly recommend working with Troy if you are planning a trip to Africa - he makes the entire process smooth and seamless, including all domestic transport and questions along the way. Thank you again!
