The hotel is centrally located and very near most places in Arusha. It is a 5 minute walk to the Arusha International Conference Centre and about 10 minutes to the EAC offices. It has no gardens but fronts a very nice area of gardens in the street - this road can get noisy with motor bikes so plan not to stay in a front-facing room if you want some peace and quiet. I had a standard room which was clean and comfortable and the staff were most accommodating when I had a few issues to sort out. The main reason I am giving this hotel a 'very good' instead of just 'good' is because their wi-fi is exceptional. I was constantly connected and at very good speeds - which is crucial for business trips.
The so-called wellness spa was underwhelming and looked a bit run-down. The gym was also a bit squeezed with many machines but I din't try to use them. It may be that the spa and gym are for females only but I didn't confirm this.
The food in the restaurant was fresh and wholesome with good prices. Their breakfast was also good with real coffee, which is a major plus.
The staff in all areas were polite, accommodating and competent. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend the hotel, especially for short business trips.More
