Quiet and peaceful stay in Kigongoni
Staff is very kind and food is one of the best we had in Tanzania
Room are big, a bit humid but we had a very good rest!
The walking tour of the property is also nice.

We had a great 3 nights stay, enjoying the beautiful surrondings on the green slopes of Mount Meru and the always helpful and friendly staff. The cottages are well designed, spacious and comfortable, but together with the location in the green hills it is the staff that makes the stay special. Always service minded and professional but in a relaxed atmosphere making it joyful to be in their company. A stay in Kigongoni Lodge is highly recommendable.

This was our first night in Tanzania for our honeymoon trip. Being the only guests for the night, we had excellent service from Francis. He was everywhere looking after us and even spent sometimes telling us about Tanzania which was very welcoming and informative.
The room was in a private bungalow with balcony overseeing the plantation and room was very spacious. No TV or Wifi was available in the room but wifi available in the bar with good speed. Had a very romantic dinner with table next to wood fire and candles. Food was decent and we were also given complemnetry sparkling wine!!
There was so a very nice swimming pool too but was a bit too cold for the time of the year.

We stayed here one night after we climbed Kilimanjaro and before we went on Safari. The rooms were huge, the bathrooms great, and the food was also delicious (breakfast buffet, restaurant for lunch/dinner). A bit pricey for food and drinks but totally worth it to be on this hilltop lodge overlooking the countryside surrounding Arusha. Internet was available in the bar/restaurant area which was fine with us. There was even a pool (we did not try it as we got there late evening and left the next morning). We wished we had stayed here the nights before we climbed Kilimanjaro as well.

We stayed here for 1 night as a getaway from life in Moshi. The staff, Francis and Queenie were both fantastic, no ask was too much and they were super friendly and professional. The room was beautiful and we loved having a balcony with great views and a fire to snuggle up to. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Great job to all at Kigongoni!
