Our experience as a family with our guide Dismas and our cook Frank, was absolutely wonderful and life changing! We couldn't have hoped for a better trip and organisation.
During our 12 days camping safari we had only amazing moments, absolutely no glitch whatsoever. Amazing animals and sceneries
I recommand Furahia and its team 200% and I wish one day I will be able to go back and experience this again
Thank you for everything

We had a 10 day Safari with Furahia - and it was fantastic.
It started with a warm welcome on the JRO Airport by the owner himself, Deograsias.
On the next day we started with a team of two, Driver/Guide: Emmanuel and cook: Frank. Both were very service oriented and we enjoyed the time with them.
Further more Emmanuel speaks English and German. That made it much easier for our kids to get all info during the safari.
During the safari-drive he had always a good overview, manage the streets, the traffic and the 'African massage' in a excellent way.

Highlights on the Safari: Tarangire, Lake Eyasi and visiting the Hadzabe, the Serengeti and experiencing the migration, Ngorongoro crater, Lake Manyara and visiting banana Plantage in Mto wa Mtbu. 'Of course' we experience the big five, thanks to Emmanuel for this !
Furthermore we experience and enjoyed a variety of accomandations: from basic tent to luxury glambing

On the banana plantage my son lost his smartphone - and surprisingly the team, and in particular Deograsias manage to 'organise' it back!
We were so, so happy and also impressed.

We really recommend to do the safari with Furahia and Deograsias :-)
[And ask for Emmanuel and Frank to do the safari with]

I could not have wished for a better safari right from the airport pick up in Arusha to the management welcome at our first night to the exceptionally lovely and competent guide Dismass. We all felt we got to experience the best of Gnorongoro and Serengeti as a result. I also came to know Furahia is 100% Tanzanian owned and participates in numerous welfare projects which made spending my money here all the more satisfying.

We really enjoyed our 6 days of Safari with our guide Dismas. We had great game drives during the days and saw an impressive amount of animals and we also enjoyed the evenings with intersting discussions with Dismas. We can only recommend Furahia and Dismas!

Two of us did a 9-day safari with Furahia Safari. Our English speaking guide, Dismass was very knowledgeable identifying animals and birds - which were abundant! - but also their behaviors and symbiotic relationships. He was thoughtful and practiced in attending to needs throughout the trip. Though our truck was a bit worn, we were very pleased with the accommodations, food, and most of all, the safari experience. Seriously consider Furahia if you are planning a Tanzanian safari.
On the practical side, we were in the Serengetti during dry season. If you are sensitive to dust, I recommend bringing some over-the-counter masks. Really helped minimize sinus problems.
