We stayed at the Lokah from Tuesday to Saturday and I can most certainly say that it was okay. The laundry is mad overpriced - don't do laundry. But the rest of the place is... Okay. Some nice staff members. A big comfy bed. Yeah. It was fine. I guess. More

Staff mostly friendly and view from lobby is fantastic.
But the suite rooms at least simply are not even close to belonging to a 5 star hotel.
The beds are ancient, the towels are Grey and threadbare pool is tiny and shuts early.
Although this hotel was a passable place to spend a few days the whole experience left us with a mildly sour taste, especially in relation to how the hotel markets and prices itself.
Maybe the villas are better, but the pools aren't that private as you can see them from the lobby

Our 3 night stay in the Lokha was amazing, beautiful tropical forest theme hotel with
scenic walks, hotel surroundings are very green with high trees and jungle scenes.
Only the dinosaurs were missing we joked. Good, pretty, clean rooms, balcony looking over the high trees and Forrest. Staff very friendly and courteous. Breakfast and dinner was a good variety with fresh ingredients. Overlooks a river stream at the back. Spa and yoga areas were very peaceful and secluded. Would love to go back.

Stayed at The Lokha for 3 days and had a wonderful time. The staff could not be any friendly. They were always willing to lend a helping hand. The hotel is a good 20 minute walk to the center of Ubud but we enjoyed making that walk. They do have shuttle service if you do not want to walk or can get you a taxi. Overall experience was great.

We stayed 3 nights in a suite room - very friendly welcoming staff, clean and modern rooms & facilities, good breakfast...but best of all is the beautiful setting of the hotel right in amongst lush bush - very peaceful and lovely views! Downsides: it is a 25min walk (via campuhan ridge walkway) or 10min on scooter (road not great in some places) to central Ubud. Hotel is quite difficult to find. Also the pool is smaller than it looks and does not get much sun. Overall we enjoyed our stay and thought it was great value for money!

My experience with the hotel has been very nice. The room is clean with nice view. The hotel surrounding give you ample opportunity to see life of local Balinese and to see the nature beauty of Ubud. I am strongly encourage to take the tour provided by the hotel.
The location of the hotel gives you a quite stay yet you can still go to main attraction in Ubud conveniently by foot or using shuttle service or by renting motorcycle.
Tips: There is limited seats for shuttle service so make sure you are booking in advance (one day before) for return trips.
