Very entertaining for an hour or so. Lots of staff on hand for assistance. Walking distance from most hotels in Ubud.

Visitors must pay attention to the monkeys which will rub your food if you are holding a supermarket like plastic bag. I witnessed the monkeys do this before, but their action is normal since all living beings need to take food to keep their life. Some baby monkeys are still lovely due to their small size.

If you enjoy monkeys this is definitely the place for you! There are many hands with bananas that you can buy to feed them, but be aware that they are not the friendliest of animals!! It was a very large park and everywhere you look you can see the monkeys swinging trough the trees or climbing around on the buildings.

If you go make sure to not have many loose items on you and definitely do not be carrying any food unless you are okay with a clan of monkeys jumping on you and stealing it before running away! My friends had there bags almost taken from them, and I had a monkey sneak up and reach right into my pocket trying to take things out.

Great opportunity for pictures with monkeys as they have helpers set you up to have the monkeys climb on you for a picture.

We were there on a rainy day and still saw a lot of monkeys! It was fun to see them eating bananas and corn.

The monkey sanctuary was great fun. I would advise against taking any food/water as they will get it if they see it! Although the keepers are on hand to get it back via a slingshot if the monkeys are successful!
