Great hotel with private beach, many statues at its pools, delicious food, wonderful cake decoration, oversized sofas and lounges and thoughtful art pieces at every corner of the resort. Can’t wait to back here again!

The rooms are spacious, beautiful and the bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I cannot complain about a single thing. Mulia is huge so you have a lot of space.

The Mulia is the quieter part of the hotel. We felt like we had the place to ourselves a lot of the time. We rarely saw more that two other guests at the pool. The beach area is quiet too. Food and drink were reasonably priced and I never felt gauged by the resort. There's a free happy hour every day 4-6pm with free flowing wine and a choice of sweet or savory snacks.

You have a choice for breakfast of ordering a la carte or going to the hotel for the buffet. We went to the buffet and found it to be quite nice!

This place is fantastic for a splurge in Bali!

We have stayed at The Mulia several times over the last few years and have always loved it, our favourite hotel anywhere!!!

This time we had one of the Lagoon rooms, although there is no view out to the ocean it was great to have access to a pool right from the terrace.

Breakfast at The Mulia is awesome, you won’t find a better buffet breakfast anywhere!! We had the buffet dinner at the Café and also dinner at Soleil, these restaurants are outstanding. We were a little upset that we were not there on a Sunday as we love the brunch at Soleil, we will definitely plan better next time!!!

We had drinks at Sky Bar and were a little saddened that our favourite barman did not work there any longer but we found him at the Ocean Pool Bar the next day, Margu you are still the best!!!

We were a little disappointed that the Ocean Pool was the only one that we could use as the other pools were covered, there was no explanation and we were not advised at check in that these pools were closed. Perhaps drinks vouchers could have been offered.

Although we have only just returned home, we are already looking forward to our next stay.

Dear Sherry J,
Your review is posted under The Mulia Suites's TripAdvisor page, but it seems as you actually stayed at the Mulia Resort. Although under the same flagships and in the same perimeter, the Mulia Resort and The Mulia Suites are 2 different properties.
The Mulia Suites is an 111 all suites beachfront boutique hotel while the Mulia Resort is a 526 rooms property adjacent to The Mulia Suites. All lagoon suites at The Mulia Suites have a breathtaking view over the Indian Ocean.
We will pass along your positive words to the Mulia Resort. Thank you again and we look forward to welcome you back to the Mulia Family!

Stayed at The Mulia for a week as part of our honeymoon trip to Bali. The Idea was for us to enjoy a little luxury and relaxation to end our trip, and The Mulia was the perfect place for that. The rooms were always immaculate and vey spacious, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Muly from the bar who remembered our names from the first visit and was very helpful throughout our trip. All the pool facilities were also brilliant, plenty of sun loungers and space at the pool bars! Another pleasant surprise was just how well equipped the fitness suite was, top quality Life Fitness and Technogym kit as well as a good selection of free weights and dumbbells up to 50kg. The gym was also fully staffed, who again were very helpful! The resort had a wide selection of amazing restaurants to choose from, which gave us a dilemma every night when deciding where to eat!! On a side note, as anyone who has recently stayed at The Mulia will tell you, Charlie XCX is due to play there on New Years Eve, However their decision to play her limited track list on repeat in all public areas of the hotel could be viewed as a method of 21st century torture!

Charlie XCX aside, This is an amazing hotel and perfect place to spend our honeymoon.

We had our 30th wedding anniversary at The Mulia through a luxury escapes deal. Our room was beautiful, but was at the back of the resort with not a great view, but that was fine as we didn't spend much time in our room.
On our anniversary, the resort provided us with a bottle of champagne and chocolates and when we had dinner at Egoden that night, the staff were so attentive and presented us with a Danish and a candle and Happy Anniversary written in chocolate.
We loved the buffet breakfasts and the 2 included buffet dinners, which were a part of the luxury escapes deal. The massage was divine at the spa, also part of the deal.
We went everyday to the fitness centre (to make up for all our eating!) and the staff here were fantastic; especially Selma and Yasa and a big thank you to all the other fitness staff too (Jovi, Lesmana, Kapek, Kompyane and Oka).
The Sky bar staff were also excellent and we loved our happy hour here (when it wasn't raining!)
The only negative is there isn't a power point in the bathroom to charge our electric toothbrush or my husbands shaver.
All in all, our experience at the Mulia was excellent and we will be back!

Room Tip: Upgrade if you're doing a luxury escapes deal if you want a better view from your room.
