This is the place where movies like Swades, Dabang etc. were shot. The ghat, the Waada behind the ghat, are beautiful and will take you back in time.

The place is famous for film shooting. You must have seen the ghat in Swadesh, Gangajal etc. movies. Come here and sit by putting foot in water and relax in the evening.

Didn't find impressive at all and not sure why so many directors have done shooting of their films here. Faced difficulty locating the place as no signboards/direction was in place.

Very serene ...huge...beautiful...however we reached during late evening and it was raining...so could not explore it properly. But whatever we could see…at least it was not dirty. The river and tress provide the best background for the ghat

Tip : Visit it during day time …as it is big and again secluded.

This is a good and quiet place to visit if you are interested in visiting scenes from movies like Swades, Singham, Omkara etc. Most of them were shot at this location. There is an ancient temple which one can visit. You can visit a ancient Wada ( home) which belonged to Nana Phadnavis who was an influential minister and statesman of the Maratha Empire under the Peshwas.
