Half an queue during lunch hours is a common sight at Vidyarthi Bhawan. This place is popular as it provides excellent south Indian darshini food since 70+ years now. The price points though have increased over last couple of years but it is still economical.
I love the service, it's promt and no nonsense. The dosa has a brilliant crisp, thanks to the ton of oil and love that goes into making it. The vada is amazing which comes dipped in a sambar bowl. The filter coffee ☕ is as authentic as one can get. And not to forget the Kesari bhat to wrap your meal ans satisfy your sweet tooth.

The ambience is still old worldly but you do need such outlets to preserve the heritage of Bangalore

Amazing food at Vidyarthi Bhavan, although there was waiting of 45 mins but it was worth it. Dosa at its best with ample of chutney and differently with no Sambhar. Amazing crispy tasty Dosa. Legacy of the place speaks in its taste.

This iconic place lives uoto its expectations in every sense and you cannot get enough of it in one visit....the taste lingers on.....we are glad we could find place, which is one difficult task, having said that it is worth every bit to wait and enjoy the dose and wada here....not to be missed....

I feel that it's an overrated restaurant. I didn't like the dosa or kharabath. Need to wait for your turn but it's not a problem if it's worth waiting
