Owner description: On the fort side of Diu town is the island's last remaining fully-functional church, St Paul's. Completed in 1610, the church has an excellent baroque facade and a very fine selection of wooden panelling and furniture inside, including an extravagantly carved 400 year old pulpit.

Built in time when Portuguese ruled Diu. A bright white building well maintained. One must light a candle there. Hundreds of candles would be lightened already.

Another prominent sightseeing apart from Diu Fort is St. Paul's Church is also known as Immaculate Conception Church. It's construction was started in 1601 and completed 1610. Its architecture is one of the most elaborate Portuguese Churches of India.

The excellent woodwork is inspiring the high ceiling, the altar instill faith and peace within.
The spacious pews, shining, gleaming wood polish and light incense perfumed air are a part of the experience.
History written on the walls, pictures a visual delight.
