e tried this place as it was recommended, and although we done usually go for the Egyptian or Turkish style cuisine, were with an Egyptian friend who could guide us through what was what and actually ordered for us based on what he thought we would like. and we weren't disappointed. The food was fresh,a lot of it cooked in front of us in the open, and the staff were lovely and friendly, and the prices very reasonable, so much so that we have been back since on our own and loved it just as much.
Its a very popular place and always seems to be busy, which is always a a good sign. IF there is one down side, and its nothing that the owners can do anything about, its that 90% of the tables are in the open and because its on the side of one of the "canals" it can tend to be rather windy, which did result in my beer bottle being blown straight off the table at one point as it was a rather breezy night. However, all in all, it wouldn't stop me going back again
