“A Must Visit - The Civil Rights Garden!”

Civil Rights Garden
Reviewed 10 September 2016

A truly peaceful garden in which to reflect on the history being recorded through etched writings on black granite columns & other structures as one meanders through the garden. The words of Dr Martin Luther King Jnr encircling the reflecting pool, then to the suspended bronze bell. Finally reaching the Freedom Hands & their inscriptions.

Gingko biloba trees in full leaf & tiny rose bushes add to the beauty of this lovely memorial.
