The service is very poor and they don´t seem to care if you are happy or not, or to offer you any alternatives. The products are not that good and the prices are way overrated for what the food really is. I do not recommend this at all.

De Lolita offers reasonably good coffee, but that should be a given in Colombia, the world's caffeine capitol. The location we visited in this chain restaurant was in Laureles, and we were there at 7 am., when the city was beginning to stir. So street noise was an issue, but it is a coffee shop, so that's expected. Service was prompt, food was warm and okay, though again nothing to brag about. My wife and I enjoyed the menu del dia, which was huevos revueltos (scrambled eggs) with jamon y queso, (ham & cheese) $24,000 COP for the two dishes, about $6.00 USD. I had a café con leche, and my wife had a café tinto, both coffees $16,000 COP, about $3.50 USD. Total cost of desayuno= $40,000 COP, or $13.00 USD. Note: a café tinto means instant coffee in Colombia. That may explain why many visitors dislike their coffee in restaurants. Café tinto is cheaper to produce, and faster. If De Lolita has a notable mark, it's that it is predictable. Three stars because this was an average experience.

The one located at Monterrey is the best for service and the quality of the food and coffee. As is the one located in Ciudad del Río. However, the coffee at La Strada is not as good. The service is good in all of them but, for example, at Mayorca one employee did not know how to make a macchiato and told a colleague to make it like a cortado. More training is needed and more care to prepare good coffee.

Although you can get nice pastries here, the coffee is very poor quality, not properly prepared. This is a common characteristic of all the "De Lolita" shops that I have visited, because sometimes it's my only shot at caffeine. To me, mediocre coffee is unacceptable at an establishment which is called "Café" and is located in Colombia.
