The reception at the hotel was excellent - John made us feel very welcomed and gave us great recommendations for our time in Medellin. He referred us to probably one of the best places I've ever had a meal.
The room was large enough, but I would say the twin beds would not be large/long enough for people with plus sizes. I had no issue. I struggle to find my stuff often because the room was way too dark. I get they want to give a "boutique" ambience, but more lighting or a change in their colour scheme would be recommended.
Breakfast was pretty good and with a very decent offering of local and international options. I cannot say the same about the quality of their bar. I understand they have a new manager and I would recommend making that change once again. This gentleman was condescending and liar, I requested to play a specific song while the whole bar was empty and we were sipping a drink. He said he didn't have Spotify even though I could see it was open on his computer. He made the drinks and they were mediocre despite the relatively high price. I also overheard his approach to his employees and he didn't seem to treat them nicely. The staff was very nice, approachable and willing to serve and they don't deserve the treatment he was giving to them.More
